Eyeliners – types 

Among the eyeliners available on the market, three types are the most popular:

·         Liquid eyeliners – have a consistency similar to mascara and usually have a precision applicator in the form of a brush or applicator tip. They make it possible to draw precise lines, both thin and thick, allowing you to create both delicate and more dramatic eye make-up.

·         Gel or cream eyeliners – usually come in jars and require application with a brush. They have a creamy texture, which makes it easy to apply and create different styles on the eyelid.

·         Crayon eyeliners – are similar in form to a traditional eye pencil. They are easy to use, ideal for creating fine lines or smudging for a smoky eye effect.

Eyeliners – which to choose?

Eyeliners can be a little tricky to use at first, but with a little practice they will become an integral part of your make-up. Choose an eyeliner that suits your needs and that you will find most comfortable to apply. Pen eyeliners  are the easiest to apply and ideal for beginners. Their application is intuitive and easy, but their durability is slightly worse and they may require touching up throughout the day. Gel eyeliner is perfect for those looking for durability and intense colour. The applicator makes it possible to create for precise lines but requires some practice. Liquid eyeliners are the most long-lasting, but their application requires the most practice. Achieving the perfect line is the result of precision and patience, but once you master the technique, the effect can be extremely impressive.
