FACE MASKS
Cosmetic face masks are specially developed formulas, rich in active ingredients, designed to address different skin problems. They differ in their composition, consistency, mode of action and method of application. They make it possible to quickly improve the condition of your skin, intensively moisturise, nourish or regenerate it.
Face masks – types
Among the Eveline Cosmetics face masks you will find:
· Classic cream masks – extremely easy to apply. You apply them in a thicker layer just like a cream. After a certain amount of time, you wash them off, while some are left to absorb completely.
· Peel-off masks – these are masks that solidify and form a transparent film on the skin. You remove them after a certain time by carefully peeling them away from your skin. Such masks usually have a purifying effect.
· Sheet face masks – these are pieces of non-woven fabric or cellulose dipped in serum. Such masks deeply moisturise the skin, but can also have a regenerating or purifying effect.
Face masks – effects
The effect of face masks depends not only on their form but above all on the ingredients used. They are designed for different skin types, so everyone can find a cosmetic suited to their needs.
· Moisturising masks – with hyaluronic acid, aloe vera or algae, are the ideal solution for all skin types.
· Cleansing masks – containing, for example, clays or activated charcoal, which absorb excess sebum and cleanse the pores.
· Smoothing and anti-wrinkle masks – promote skin regeneration and stimulate repair processes in the skin. They may contain, for example, bacchiol, snail mucus extract or peptides.
· Regenerating masks – deeply nourish dry skin, soothe redness and restore comfort. They contain natural oils such as olive oil, manuka honey or plant collagen.
How often should you use face masks?
As often as you need it. Moisturising and regenerating masks can be used several times a week. Purifying face masks should preferably be used once a week. Before applying a mask, you can use a scrub (link). This will enhance their effect.
